We produce some of Texas' finest stone materials.
Ramirez Stone and Masonry currently own and operate two different stone quarry sites near Comfort and Fredericksburg. We unearth stones, slabs and large boulders using on site rock saws, which we regularly have inspected. When necessary, we even can produce some hand chipped products.
We can produce that famous white and cream Hill Country limestone. Plus, there are a myriad of other rich, earth tone looking rocks and building materials for your use as well. Just take a look at the photos on this page to get a quick look at what we've produced lately. The Vineyard subdivision in Fredericksburg are using Ramirez materials exclusively.
Texas Beauty Found in Each Stone
We sell materials to companies and individuals by the pallet and ton. But, you can buy large single boulders if that's what you need. Texas Limestone
Texas limestone is a sedimentary rock consisting primarily of calcium carbonate, often in the form of the minerals calcite or aragonite, and sometimes with magnesium carbonate in the form of dolomite. Minor amounts of silica, feldspar, pyrite, and clay may also be present. Limestone contains many colors but is usually white, gray, or black.
The photo above shows one of those pieces of limestone we produced for a homebuilder and how we can precisely cut that rock to meet builder specifications.
